So, this Outlaw Star doujin is possibly one of the prime examples of wonderful fanwork I've seen.

Basically, from what I can gather with my ability to recognise absolutely ZERO kanji, but I'm sure it's... okay for what it is, which is why the story rating is at three and a half. At the start, there's Gene and he just got done whaling on some unsuspecting minion. Then, I kind of lose track, it looks like a few nemeses are trying to eradicate Mr. Starwind, albeit, unsuccessfully. After the scuffle, Gene heads back to Stawind and Hawking Enterprises, where Melfina is awaiting his return. Of course, giving into the cliches of hentai doujinshi, a plethora of pornographic proceedings take place.

The first involves Melfina solo, it then moves to another quick battle page, for some reason, and we are once again in the confines of a room. This time, we have what looks like a cross between Melfina and "Hot Ice" Hilda. As such, we can only assume what will happen in the pages following. Melfina finds the fiends fornicating and draws a B under the hybrid Melfina/Hilda's left eye. I think Gene continues the intercourse, as far as I can tell. What continues on for a while is pretty much a clipshow of copulation, and continues on to pretty much the end of the book.

Now that we're done with this summary thing, I can get on to why I rated this tomfoolery the way I did. As previously stated, my inability to read the book is why the story score is at half, but, and as far as I know, this score seemed to be in good taste. But the art is something I can understand to be spectacular. A collaborative effort between Nakayohi and Mogudan, it ends up being far and beyond better than most of the stuff you're going to lay eyes upon for a while. The characters stay true to the series, but an added artistic flair has been input to make this gem stand out.

If you've looked at this doujin for more than five minutes, you'll know why the Straight rating is where it is, and the group rating is applicable as far as an event near the end of the book. The only thing I can see being slightly contested is the Zoomorph rating, which I have up as Melfina is an android, and, well, that's kind of a mystical quality, in my opinion.

Overall, this gets four and a half, as it is a very good effort, but without being able to read this sucker, I'm not going to know how incredibly awesome it actually is.

The only Outlaw Star doujin done by Nakayohi features Melfina... two of them, with what seems to be opposite personalities. Gene, of course, is the lucky guy who gets it on with both.

Let's start with the good points. It's done by Nakayohi, and it was published earlier in his career, which meant this was done before the times of "Big Breast Rei Ayanami" in his Ayanami series. In other words, the girls have good sized breasts, but they don't look like they're bigger than your backyard. Melfina also has one of the most delicious asses I've ever seen on 2-D chick, and her dual personalities adds to her appeal. The sex scenes are naughty and varied, ranging from foreplay to penetration in the showers to two-on-one.

As a bonus the artwork is nearly 100% faithful to the original anime's art. ALL the characters in this doujin look very similar to their official art. It gives the doujin a look of authencity that isn't always found in doujins like these (that are meant to be parodies).

The down side? The sketches have an unfinished quality to them, so some of the pensmanship on some of the drawings are a bit lower quality. Character outlines are a little fuzzy, and this also hurts scenes where a lot of action is happening. It doesn't feel as cleaned up as I feel like it should be.

Overall: Very good doujin, and it's the best work out of a very few number of Outlaw Star smut out there. If you like Outlaw Star, this is a keeper.

now this is what i call melfina porn! i always did think of her as the sexy one among the ladies of outlaw star. you can do it, gene. you can do it all night long! this is manga at it's finest! 10 out of 10. 1 melfina is good, but 2 melfinas is way sexy! i tip my hat to the maker of this hentai manga. i would love to shake this person's hand. i wish melfina was real, then i could pork her every day. i could read this a million times, and get a boner every time.

There's some slight error in the description that this doujin is from Nakayohi. Actually, this doujin is drawn by Mogudan, the artist from Brave Soul, a h-game in PC.
The art is really good on this one. The artist can draw the female character really good. Even better than the original artwork i guess.

This was much better than could have been expected really. The artwork was very clearly the characters from the show, if not slightly over-sexualized. The sex scenes themselves were well drawn, realistic to a degree, while still maintaining an erotic edge that puts it far above many of the genre. The story itself is a little confusing, for someone who doesn't read a lick of Japanese. However, if you like the show, and can appreciate well drawn comics, then this is definitely the doujin for you.
