As a Sonic fan, I tend to shy away from most Sonic hentai, simply because I'm not a furry, and I particularly don't find the drawings of Sonic characters arousing.

This doujin kind of puts a whole new spin on it. The style is very far from "furry", aside from a tuft of hair and some ears, and I actually found it quite intriguing.

Unfortunately, little of the story is intelligible, and it barely passes for hentai. Despite large amounts of nudity, there was hardly any effort involved in rendering the erogenous zones, and very little sexual content.

Without an understanding of the story, you'll probably get bored of this before you finish it. (Unless you just want to see the artists take on all the different Sonic characters ^_^)

three words, hot, hot, sexy! This morphed form of sonic the hedgehog is pretty damn sexy. Not alot of story here considering im not really flunt in japanese. but it looks like its a humoniod/female verisons of the heros in sonic the hedgehog chilling on the beach just taling. No sex here, but if its a good story and you read japanese. This is for you.

As a sonic fan..... I have to say that this comic is only good for the art. Story is fair at best and the fact that they turned sonic into a female is a bit disturbing... Tails it wasn't too suprising. The original creators of Miles "Tails" could never fully agree if the fursona was to be male or female. Even to this day they still dissagree. I was only able to get to about page 9 before I got bored with it though. But if you can put up with the soft-core zeno-morphic fursonas and the disturbing idea of Sonic as a female......... Read it. you may like it.

Sonic & Tails is quite a different Doujinshi from what you would find normally. There's almost nonstop nudity throughout the story, yet there's no real sex...and the nudity actually doesn't show details like nipples or the vagina due to fur. This is what makes it different from the normal set.

The art is rather good, making attractive human/beast hybrids out of popular Sonic characters. They are given unique looks and traits based on the animals they are. Even Mecha Sonic is in, but a robotic woman in a metallic bikini like armor. The comic is long, as is likely the story, but as a person not fluent in Japanese, I can't really comment much on it. Overall, worth a look at, if you don't mind the lack of sex and detailed female anatomy.

First and foremost, I love the art. I wish I had a better understanding of Japanese so that I could enjoy the story just as much. I could follow it some, and it is a bunch of (mis)adventures mostly centering arount Tails and the abuse that she recieves from ... everyone. My favorite part was when Tails was sent over a waterfall in a barrel.

There's also a section that is populated with characters from elsewhere. I think they are from Samurai Spirits, but I am not certain. Even less nudity there.

If you are a fan of Sonic or Koushi Rikudou, you might want to pick this one up for some giggles. If you just want porn, go somewhere else.

I grew up playing the Sonic the Hedgehog games, and I never thought I'd ever see the blue mammal as a sex object. Well, lo and behold, thanks to the artistic efforts of Koshi Rikudo, of Excel Saga fame, the normally kids-friendly hero has been reinterpretated as a sexy animal girl. Clad only in her gloves and trademark running shoes, Sonic certainly elicits a wholly different response than Sega intended.

Now, let me be clear on the fact that there is no furry content in this doujinshi. Sonic and the other characters are more akin to cat girls than outright furries. The only animal features they have are their ears and some tufts of fur; no sexualized antropomorphic character designs at all. In fact, there is extremely little sexual content in this doujinshi to begin with, and no actual sex whatsoever. The main characters might run around naked, but you don't get to see any genitalia, and even the nipples seem to have been purposefully left out in most panels. You'd expect some shoujo-ai/yuri moments between Sonic and Tails (who is also a girl here, by the way), but alas.

It's easy to forget that "doujinshi" is the general term for fan-made manga. There is nothing in the definition which says a doujin must contain sex of any sort. With this in mind, Sonic & Tails is still a very interesting and probably unique book. The art is crisp and clean, the character designs are as wonderful as they are clever (even Dr. Robotnik looks like you'd imagine he'd do if he was an actual person) and it's long.

My verdict? You should definitely read it, if only for the bizarre experience of getting turned on by frickin' Sonic the Hedgehog. It's a shame no one has translated it yet; I'm sure it would have been an even more interesting read it you'd be able to make out what was being said. But hey! You can still drool over the pictures.
