If something can discribe this doushinji it is pre-game. At the beginning we have Squall and Quistis in somethig more than their teacher-student relationship, but at the end Quistis leaves crying. Follows some Seifer and Rinoa interaction, with Rinoa doing a blowjob and then something more. And to finish we have some minor yuri, just 3 pages, with Quistis and Selphie as the characters.
Tha art is great through all the doujinshi, maybe we find less quality in the yuri part, but the rest is great. And I have to say that the story is very original, so this doujinshi is a must have for all Final Fantasy 8 fan.

A great read!

The is one of the only doujin I have read that not only has an interesting story, but actually brings out some feeling other than lust.

As the other reviewer said, both stories happen before the events of the game. The mood is very nostalgic, with each story depicting the characters in relationships that were alluded to during the game.

The first has Quistis and Squall reminiscing about when they met, and pursing a more physical facet of their relationship.

The second is about Seifer and Rinoa. Even here Seifer looks like a power-hungry jerk. Apparently all good-looking girls must count a jerk as an ex-boyfriend...

All in all, an excellent read

First of all, I've got to say, this has got to be the sexiest Rinoa I've ever seen in any doujin. No, really. Read it and see! Now, onto the review:

I merely skimmed through the first part (a small scenario between Squall and Quistis) and went right to the Seifer/Rinoa. Words cannot describe how hot she looks! The sex that follows is incredibly hot as well. Rinoa basically does everything in her power to make Seifer feel good while he just lies back and enjoys it all. (Wow, he's one lucky guy~)

The art is lovely and I like the style a lot, although Seifer, with his half-shadowed face, looks rather creepy in most of the panels. The way the artist depicted Rinoa was incredibly beautiful, though. I can't get over how cute she looks in this doujin!

Even if you absolutely hate FF8, it's worth it to check this doujin out just for the sexy Rinoa!

Lost Memories appears to be another gem from Nekoi Mie, described by Baka-Updates as a regular contributor to the Manga Super circle. It's no surprise that he is, really; Nekoi's artwork is detailed, emotional and consistent throughout.

The one-shot is displayed nicely and not something atypical of usual sex romps: that is, it has a story; displayed in flashbacks between the juicier bits, one half through the Squall/Quistis relationship and the other through Seifer/Rinoa. Unfortunately it's not currently translated so one can only go by the way it's drawn...

The Squall/Quistis half in particular seems to hearken back to when the two first met. I'm not sure what happens near the end, but the narration itself is fairly melancholic, good if you prefer bittersweet endings.

The Seifer/Rinoa bit is also nice but probably best if one prefers the 'self-insert dark guy' cliche present in most H-games. Then again, that's probably what most of us are looking for; it's just more of a let-down in a doujin as opposed to your usual hentai. He is supposed to resemble Seifer to some extent, after all!

Between each 'chapter' is an omake page or two, presumably to lighten the mood. The last few pages involve a quick Quistis/Selphie bit but it arguably leaves something to be desired; the art hasty as well as the plot, if there was any to begin with.

Overall it's a nice peek into what could've been for both pairings, like an R-rated fanfic come to life. If you can't read it, it's still worth a look-through.
