This volume, featuring Iroha (whom you saw getting in on before in volume 5), is a bit of departure from the normal Femme Kabuki fare. It's not sex with customers (5), coerced encounters (3,4,6), or using sex to escape from a bust (1,2), but a very hot scene between Iroha and a man she has a crush on, Shimizu Jirocho (who is a fairly big historical figure of the time). A single straight sex scene only, but the quality doesn't disappoint in this installation of Femme Kabuki.
The story: the troupe is putting on a play (not erotic) for a party hosted by Jirocho, who is the (honroable) yakuza boss in the area, and afterwards Iroha is acting (according to Soujiro) somewhat odd around Jirocho. There is an interruption by the police, who back down after some intimidation.
Jirocho goes off in somewhat of a sulk, remembering dead rivals and friends, and Iroha follows him. He talks about he and Ishimatsu (the subject of the play in the beginning) growing up and how they worked to change the government, only to see corruption. Iroha, upset, blows up at him and a nice steamy scene follows.
Meanwhile, however, the police apparently got wind of Soujiro staying at the residence and decide that it makes for a good excuse to wipe out Jirocho's house. Soujiro, however, stops them on the road and draws his sword...
Cutting back to the other action, after quite a variety of positions, there's a sappy ending where Jirocho tells Iroha that she's inspired him to live again (and then jumps her bones again).
All in all, a solid storyline, as can be expected from this series, accompanied by some very hot action.
