Seriously though, we should have programs by now that should be able to extract the text in these images so we can at least get a crappy auto-translation.
@Jarvis_42: Getting flagged is not a manual process. There's no guy picking what is offensive by hand. If scat, loli, or guro is tagged it gets flagged. But if you like any of those you will want to use a different version of this site and not e-hentai to get all galleries anyway, and ex doesn't have the flagged offensive warning anyway.
@Krowler: Japanese OCR programs exist, they're just generally pretty spotty in terms of accuracy due to the intricacy of kanji, particularly at low resolutions. Depending on how much effort you're willing to put in, you can get sort of close.
The easiest option is to install the Google Translate app on a smartphone or tablet and use it to take a picture of the text. It can scan for text and translate it, but it's rather hit or miss depending on things like spacing, resolution, color contrast, etc.
The more complicated option is to take the image file directly and feed it into an online OCR page, of which there are a bunch of free ones. Some are better than others. For maximum accuracy (with maximum effort), you can cut out specific sections of text and feed them bit by bit to the OCR software, which will allow you to check accuracy a bit at a time.
There's some "real-time" OCR software out there that allows you to scan the text onscreen as you go but in my experience it's generally been pretty garbage in terms of accuracy.
