A better Madoka share than my recent ones, I'd say :) Plot-wise, at least, because art is unfortunately very meh. The artist may have the heart in the right place, but their drawing skills are second tier, I am afraid.
I actually love the art. I think it's really refreshing to see something done with traditional media and how some of the particularly stylised panels look with it. To each their own, of course.
The best kind of art is not necessary the ones that have the crispest lines and sharpest edges, but the way the artist is able to make the characters feel alive. Even though it looked like this was scribbled onto a notebook, the expressions the characters make give them life that a lot of art that is "higher tier" just lacks. It's definitely got heart, and when used the right way, it's all it really needs. Style is what makes art so diverse and unique.
