I really do hope so its building to something. It seems like it does as beyond was first alluded to in the 21yo one. And now we had a glimpse of how they operate and one of their leader members. Then the 25yo one had something about the world not giving them a fair chance. It seems we're dealing with some sort of loosely attached groups of humanoids that continue to recruit others by infecting them with something.
