I don't kinkshame, I think people can like what they like, but I'm with l4chuga on this. I don't understand the arousal effect here. There's no explanation as to what is happening, why, or how. Even in the most basic dirty comics there's "Guy has boner, does something about it" or "Girl is horny, does something about it." With this, are we to assume Ember threw her scale through a magic portal? Who made the portal, why, also why do her scales cause people to change into her, why do they seem to also gain her memories and brain (Since she says "I've never seen this place before" I'd assume that's the guy being completely gone.) Finally, what arousal is there in not existing any more? If your brain were to be totally overridden like that, you'd be dead. There's no difference between massive brain damage (personality change, etc) and death. These really short transformation comics are an enigma inside a puzzle. They have no reason for the events that transpire, even cheap "it's porn" reasons. They rarely make any level of sense outside "Someone like transformation." And a lot of them imply something very close to "You no longer exist" which is almost like having a personal suicide fetish.

I've seen some pretty decent transformation comics, even some that go along this line of no longer existing as you are, but these short ones are about as confusing in popularity to me as a Chick tract. They're so far into a very specific niche audience, more so than guro (Which can also attract people who just like extreme gore and aren't necessarily into the sex part).
