Come on guys, Jay did tons of comics about other fetishes. Men being penetrated, however, seems to be his favorite subject and that's why he "specializes" in it. I understand the criticism, there are a lot of repetive and bullshit stories out there, I just don't think this is the case. I'm a huge fan of his work and I'll be the first one to call shenanigans if I think his comics are going downhill. Don't take me the wrong way, I just like to give the guy a break because afterall you can't take these stories so serious. However, if he's overpaid and getting cocky (I don't really know much about him) then I'd agree he deserves whatever crap he gets from the fans. Personally, I wish he'd make more gay stuff, but that's just my opinion.

@Dmain We don't really "freak" out as you put it. If you wanna see us "freak" out, then read the comments for the manga "A World That I Rule" by Rozer which is just a godawful manga.

This is more like making fun of the fact that the artist while a pretty good artist just can't stop doing the same old repeat track of his own way of storytelling that only comes out as cringe worthy pretentious and pompous while preaching about objectivism, stating that he "traditionally leans right of center" and such. Naylor inserts these ideals in his comics with the female characters embracing their roles based on it. Like how everything has a identity in life, so the female characters are accepting their roles and identity as either dominating cheating neotare lovers and reasons that they will become a mother by some random stranger or just be happy to have sex with everything in her path because that can make others happy.
These sort of ethical egoism that most Naylor's comics is filled to the brick with, is what we are mostly tired of these day and make fun of it. We may have loved Naylor's comics one time or another but we all grew out of it once we realized that Naylor seem like he was stuck in that single mindedness of his and he still gets paid because of it. There are a lot of worse comics out there to be sure and we make even harsher comments about those whenever we get the chance but this is just a pure comedic pot of gold.

@The Victor Since I never read Naylor's work outside of porn, I guess I don't really care about the characters the way some others may do. I think he's a very good artist (furry isn't really my thing, but Naylor draws it so well), and can make some hot scenarios at times, but overlooking characters and the way they develop or present themselves in porn seems easy to me. I guess my main point is - why waste the time? He draws the same way from what I can see, and is telling the stories the same way from what all the comments say, and he gets a ton of critics (or comedians, I guess) when one page of his next comic is released, and nothing ever changes. So why bother? I'm just curious. The comments here don't seem to be people having a laugh, but being angry. Life is too short for that over such a minor thing.

Is Jay Naylor a real life cuck? While I do appreciate his art, the story and dialogue always gave me the vibe that he got cheated on at one point in his life and he rationalized it by saying whoever his gf/wife cheated him with is just an alpha male, thus pushing him to accept (and even appreciate) his miserable fate and develop a NTR fetish. Every artist has their own style, it is what makes them unique. If you don't like it then do not fund his Patreon, however those that do appreciate it are comfortable with giving him their money, if you don't want your donations to be criticized then don't criticize their choices. So this is my theory on naylor:

first i thought he was cheated at some point and he could not get over it and he condensed the person who cheated him into a catholic rabbit whore (rachel/sissy) but then i thought, what if he didnt got cheated at all, what if it is something more deep? and then i made my theory he had an incestuos relationship whit his sister but then at some point She get over it, She grow up, and got another man, but he seen this as a betrayal, i got this from better days as the first act of the relationship the good part of the past, then the twins from twisted sister they show up the moment when she gets a better guy, a "superior" that i think it just means older, that is the second act, and the third is a fantasy it can not be real, that is the sissy relationship with her brother that goes on to this day he may wish it but it is not shown.

So, while I can see how this sort of overly-pompous dialogue can get on the nerves of peeps who just want some good smut (trust me, I usually come for the art when it comes to Naylor), I'll at least wait until the comic is finished before judging it. In truth, I would love to see more of his adorable short comics, like Dixie and the such. Not so much cheating, and if possible, more Male Human on Female Furry action since it's so rarely done. Other then that I don't much care for the design of chracters. Im here for the art. As far as Jay Naylor goes he does what he wants.

I'm starting to wonder if Jay Naylor would break if he were ever commissioned to do a comic on a healthy relationship that isn't his. I don't think that he would break but more not being motivated enough to make such a vanilla comic. I'd imagine that it would be more like a occupational injury than anything else, Naylor expects the more hardcore stuff that he thrives at working with that if anyone would commission him to do otherwise, he'd decline or just postpone it indefinitely.

It is pretty much amazing to see how everyone including myself is expecting to see how this comic is going downhill with its... amazingly pretentious writing that claims to be "deep" when in reality it's in the lines of those abysmal "brainwash/mindbreaking" rape hentais you see on this site except with furries. As in, there really isn't any.

If it had been properly negotiated/explained from the start and Rachel was into deprivation and agreed, that'd be fine.

But she was basically tricked into it, and isn't really enjoying it.

I'm not personally fond of Rachel (based on past deeds), but luring someone into a sexual situation under false pretenses and then keeping them trapped there under the guise of "training" is messed up.

Sure, I'd like to think so that a comic can be improved immensely if one can pull the effort. Like Naylor's comic "Aron", I can bet that with enough rewrites, it could be about how Aron experiences his romantic and sexual relationships with each of the girls he is dating and removing the whole Naylor ideals that is forced into it.

Plus, I agree, most hentais and western comic porn has the exact theme with BDSM and semi-non-consensual and most artists and writer goes for the same path because it just sells, instead of doing what "Sunstone" did, a AMAZING yuri themed BDSM webcomic about the actual trust and love between partners and even addresses the cons and pros of it and not to mention the inaccurate depiction in most media especially a certain movie franchise that is for some reason successful...

These are pornographic comics & while the dialogue is often cringe worthy I don't think it detracts from the visual quality.

Is there better written stuff out there? Hell yes. Sunstone is a great example. But I don't think that obligates Naylor to bring his work up to the same level.

Plus on a legal/ethical side, I don't think it's OK to rewrite/edit an artist's work.

She's a side-character from Jay Naylors old webcomic "Better Days"
she was a slutty whore- really just an nonredeemable character meant to act as a foil for the main cast.
Anyway after her role in the comic had ended, people kept asking (bugging) Naylor about her.
So he drew a picture of her having OD'd in a bathroom stall & covered in spunk- at least she "died" doing what she loved.
But Naylor's obviously resurrected her (perhaps due to popular demand).

OK, the writing on page 17 is shit garbage.

So, how do I think it could get better?
1: change the plot slightly (literally dodge the ending problem)
2: insert joke at the end (Jay's done it before)
3: hook panel (one last panel referencing what's actually going on)

Oh man... this.. This was something alright.

The moment I saw "The End" at the last page of this comic, I just roared with laughter for five minutes. Ever since this comic was being published about four months ago, we all had a lot of fun discussing the potential story that was going to happen and mocking the hell of it right at page one. We just thrived at how ludicrous the story went at the direction of eff-all avenue at every update.

This was like Jay Naylor being the best and total worse with his way of storytelling at the same time. His artwork and layout while pretty damn good, the lack of actual background was lack-lusting and annoying and I don't think that I need to mention that his writing is BEYOND abysmal with no real idea about how BDSM or bondage is really about. I discussed Naylor's writing with a friend of mine and we agree on that he is like the porn version of Frank Miller, the kind of writing that only a man whose dwindling sanity could do. Not exactly "Holy Terror" bad, but it is just a matter of time that Naylor WILL produce something that will be his magnum opus of worse porn comic, this is merely his closer steps towards it.

Its the same with "Brooke Goes to College", I had big hopes that it would be Naylor's breaking away from his traditional pattern by doing a pornographic parody of the typical "bisexual college girl" settings but no, now I know it is going the same way Naylor only KNOWS he can do.

And we can't love to hate him more for it XD
