I care. Anyone remember the "Submission Sailor" series? THAT was Kuroinu Juu and his skill at the finest. It had a theme, a plot, Youma that actually had to work for their piece of ass, and a conclusion that involved a creative orgy followed by an epic final battle. And it was actually pretty damn funny, too; it knew not to take itself too seriously. Not only that, but every Inner Senshi was involved, Artemis and Luna were involved, one of the Youma was actually given character development. And then there was that Goo Goo Dolls story. That was such a new and innovative move; I mean the Senshi using themselves as bait to find and destroy Youma hideouts? That was not a move you'd expect them to make back then; it was a darker, grayer morality and it was awesome. And there was the "Heaven's Door" story that followed up "Submission Mercury Plus" and "Submission Jupiter" with Mercury and Jupiter getting all... cozy and intimate.There was the follow up story with Artemis and Venus, and... Jeez, even the one-offs felt more invested.

This just feels more like your run of the mill Sailor Moon porn than anything. Or even just some run of the mill porn than anything. Some big-bodied asshole diddies a sexy chick while slut-shaming her before fucking her into submission and 'impregnating' her (depending on the medium, she might not actually become pregnant.) I could get that way over half the artist who draw hentai. I mean, sure this is still good artwork, but I could say the same about Jing-rock's Sailor Moon doujin, or Mizuru Kei's Sailor Moon doujin. And the plot here is so paper-thin that I'm honestly afraid to write on it.

Kuroinu Juu is still a good writer and artist; that much can be said. But it feels somewhere along the line he either ran out of ideas, lost his edge, or both.

As for the ~promo~ stuff, the recent revamp was marketed as a josei series for older fans (even though it's the same plot as the original comic, go figure) and one of those was the OK to add Sailor Moon (along with other famous characters in other IPs, whose usage is a bit less odd) to a local community outreach event about personal health and STD prevention. It's not actually "merch" -- although most of the new stuff is mildly dull stuff being marketed to adults cause of the demographic switch -- so pull the stick out of your butt.
