Usually, the "western" category doesn't appeal to me because I find the artwork/artstyle subpar compared to the typical "anime" style. But this......I like this. Really hope to see more from this artist.

@ mac77 you say Cat girl however reading it and looking over it, it's more Wolf girl then cat girl.
The only cat girl I see is on the last pages.. you can tell by Ears and tails.

However the art is sure nice and it's not bad I hope they keep working on it. (^_^)

Yes, she needs to practice backgrounds, that's true.
I know because I'm working together with her (I'm responsible for the webcomics story and stuff).
But I also know that the priority on the backgrounds are pretty low, in order to be able to deliver as much pages as possible.

It's also not her best quality drawings, but Crescentia needs to make a compromise between quality <-> costs.
The webcomic is being financed through supporters on Patreon, and she made the milestones as "cheap" as possible.
However, this also means she can't go all out on the quality...
Certainly, the backgrounds suffer because of this the most.
But I hope she improves a bit over time, so she's able to do better backgrounds in less time.
(it's all about practice after all)

Good art but goofy writing for a porn comic spending so much time setting up a story. Could be worse but I hope it goes somewhere instead of focusing on establishing all of the characters' situationally-convenient superpowers.

Well, resicane, to be honest, monster rape is pretty hot and it's kind of the running theme of this comic from the very beginning. There's nothing wrong with having a favorite character, I quite like several of them including the white-haired chick (Ferrania), but why would you read a comic like this and expect prominently featured characters to never get raped? The kind of defiant, aroused-but-refusing-to-submit sex that Ferrania just had is, like, one of my favorite kinds of porn and it honestly made me like her a bit more and hope to see her have many more sex scenes later on (rape or otherwise). And since every single (male) rapist in this comic up to this point has been violently murdered regardless of their circumstances, no matter how much I might sympathize with the plight of his people, no matter how much I like this particular guy for his adorable arrogance and daring to strike out against THE MAN, and the fact that he and his brother were probably still going to die horribly even if they didn't rape Ferrania, justice is almost certainly going to be fulfilled because in this comic, the rapists are disposable characters that exist to give us porn and then be killed off so that the girls can recover their agency as characters and so that new rapists can show up that can fulfill different fetishes.

And you know what? That's fine. Great, even. I would never ask anything more from the writer or artist because I like this kind of thing, and because trying to do more is hard as hell.

Good luck with the comic, anyhow, writer and author. Keep on keeping on.

Time to see how welcome criticism is in a community like this!

Alright, let's start with the good parts. The sex in the story is very, very well done. Not my favourite, since the dialogue is sort of clumsy (I'll get to that more later) but the art is good and the scenes make some sense, even if they're way too goddamn short for what they are. The art is good, the artist (artists?) is (are?) clearly talented, with some exceptions on perspective and the background. The fight scenes, while also short, are well-drawn, and don't take too much time, allowing us to get to the sex scenes faster and very quickly establishing a winner and a loser in simple terms for those who would rather just pay attention to the characters' plots than the story's. I get that, and that's fine... However.

The story is bad. Really, really bad. It starts on a bad foot by essentially getting in the way of the porn in a porn comic, but as a story-minded sort of fellow, I was with it at first. When the basic plot was explained, I justified a couple of things, trying to figure out why the gods made demigods instead of just making demons weaker, since the demigods were apparently there to deal with men but called themselves demon hunters and only fought demons and each other..? Anyway, I tried to explain it away, then tried to ignore it, convincing myself that the characters must be the important part, not the plot, and I should focus on them, right?

...Well. The characters are, um... simple. I think if we selected all of the traits from the ones that don't conflict, we might have a full character on our hands. As it is, we have an indeterminate number of character traits running around on their own playing make-believe that they're real developed animal-people instead of vague stereotypes and anime cliches. We've got the angry one, the honourable one, the horndog, the overconfident one, what have you. We need more than that, though, if we're going to care about any of them. I think the flaws with the characters really came through for me when I saw that, perhaps accidentally, the two flower-naga things in the end were both given a lot more development than any one of the main characters, and possibly up to five or six of them combined, leading me to actually ROOT for them both and feel kinda really bad when the more confident brother died. I wanted to see more of how the other one was handling two brothers dying, rather than how the angry one was angry with the whole rape situation.

So the characters don't work, but then there's the sex and the fights, right? And the art? Well, the trouble with the art is that it is one-hundred-percent useless in the story bits. There's almost nothing portrayed in the art that people couldn't glean from the dialogue if it were in, say, a book, even with minimal narration. The artist is skilled, however, and that really shines through in the sex... which is over in six, maybe seven panels, maximum. There's not enough time to get anywhere with yourself before there's another twenty or so pages of sexless dialogue and combat, which I certainly cannot pleasure myself to, but I understand some people are different...

As for the fights, they would be interesting if I hadn't seen each and every one of them, word for freakin' word, in a little unknown anime some people call Dragon Ball Z. I know the comic is supposed to be in the style of traditional manga, but there's a difference between using a style and copy-pasting every cliche you can nick from more successful work. It comes down to the same paradigm shifts and poorly-defined context sensitive powers and overblown 'Wha-!? KABOOM' reactions that I've seen hundreds of times before, and I'm not even that big an anime fan.

I really like the ideas at play here, even if I think making the main characters a little more Demon Joe than Mary Sue might serve you well. The artwork alone deserves to be attached to a better story, one that showcases the talents of the artist more even if they're still learning. The character designs, while so cookie-cutter at this point that it's impossible to tell characters apart, are still sexy and unique in this person's artstyle.

And please, don't leave us on a cliffhanger with Demon Who is Concerned About His Brothers' and His Own Well Being and Has a Cynical Cowardly Streak that Drove Him to Betray His Own in the Hopes that the Hunters Would Spare Them Both. He's by far my favourite character so far, and may even become my OC's OTP husbando.

I tried to like this, for the art style and all, but the writing style is far too juvenile for me to get into the story. If the dialogue were to beef up, in particular, this could easily be one of my favorite porn comics to read, but it's just so simplistic that it might as well be from a Saturday morning cartoon, and that's just too juxtaposed with the erotica.

They claim they'll release the previous version to the public when the next version is available to patreons. Which means they can hold the current build indefinitely if they want to sit on the pile of money they make through public donation and only draw comic instead of making the game.

My personal policy in patreon donation is to never donate to someone who holds basic update for ransom (which incidentally covers about 90% of the H-game crowdfunding). But I just feel there's something about Projekt Wolfenstahl that's even more cynical than most Hentai game crowdfunding project (Aside from obvious scam like Breeding Season when it was still on life support). At least for people who are only interested in the game and not in their comic.

That, plus Projekt Wolfenstahl doesn't have the best record in finishing their game. Out of their 3 projects, I think only Paperhead got fully completed before the team basically went: Fuck this shit, I'm bored.

Not saying Projekt Wolfenstahl is a scam, of course. I just got burned too many times when it comes to video games (Both AAA and Indie) to the point I prefer to see the full product (ideally with a length demonstration, or try it with a pirated copy) before I pony up the money.

P.S.

Well, they just released their 2nd Patreon build which means they released their first build to the public. I played it, and have to say I'm unimpressed with the money they got.

It's not badly made, and the 2 female characters are excellently drawn by their artist (comparatively the demon enemies just look lame and lazy). It just feels really generic 'if you like game over HRPG, maybe you'll like this' kind of way with nothing standout. Plus, I already played 2 other HRPG that's inspired by Moral Sword Asagi: 'Sneak in Desperation' and 'Damsel Quest 3'.

I suppose if one would enjoy the game if they either really love the Deathblight characters and want to seem them star in a game, or hate the characters so much to the point of wanting to see them get fucked. Otherwise, the game just feels pretty bland so far. Then again, I feel most HRPG made in RPGmaker engine are bland and uninteresting so maybe they just aren't for me.

You went on to describe how you were emotionally scarred by RWBY, a colorful kids show. If you're ashamed of the way you behaved, you simply need only to acknowledge this, not pretend you're sane and smear the comic and fans who simply see you for the stupid, petulant man-child you are. I feel so very sorry for Wolfenstahl and Cresentia. They've done nothing to deserve the rampant harrassment they've suffered through at the hands of resicane/2shiftee/JDMav/whatever the heck he's calling himself these days. I've seen the heartfelt responses they give to his ramblings, and I feel it's such wasted time and effort. I have read dozens of comics and manga like this one, and none of them have so rabid an individual stalking its creators like this one, at least not so publically. I feel even more sorry for whoever knows this person in real life, but it would seem anyone like that has long since cut all ties and ran as they should.

Don't let one person ruin any of the enjoyment you have in making your comic. Block him and report him as many times as it takes, tell him to fuck off, whatever it takes; just make him know he is unwanted. Nobody, fans or otherwise, would fault anyone for shunning a creep like this, so don't feel bad if you do to. His actions are borderline cyberbullying at this point if they haven't been already. I'd call him a troll, but trolls only pretend to be people like this because they like the reactions it gets. we all pretty much were drawn in by one thing, to just fap/schlick or whatever you do to get off while looking at this...
