The main three reasons I've seen are...

1. He goes to sites that upload tiny resolution and poor quality scans and uploads them to sadpanda. This means that legit scanners don't get as much feedback when they upload their quality scans later on.

2. Earlier on in his low-quality career, he spammed links to his sites even though none of the scans are his.

3. After getting called out on his scummy practices he claimed that he was being unfairly targeted.

Personally I think that people are being a bit harsh on him. But at the same time I would appreciate it if he didn't upload an entire gallery of 30 pages that's 2MB large so both sides are at fault. No, there aren't any bots and it is far more than 20 people but there is an overreaction for sure.
