It's supposed to sound formal and stilted. That's just the characters. They're a wealthy, highly traditional family. Also, the term she uses in the RAW is お父様, or "otou-sama" (which should be obvious even without checking the RAW, because, I mean, title...), so that 2nd option would make no sense whatsoever.
