Surprisingly, I'm enjoying these a lot. I hadn't heard of it before, so I was expecting a bunch of played out "Us furries, huh?" jokes.

Never really got into Happy Tree Friends, but I wouldn't call this a less gory or dumbed down version of it. From what little I've seen of HTF, the humor here seems completely different, with the only real similarities being the use of cutesy furry characters and everyone suffering after a failed attempt to improve their lives.
