I just spotted July Hopps in that stampede of bunnies and Mrs. Hopps doesn't look as thrilled as everyone else.

Again notice how her mother seems to be absent for now from the happy group. I'm almost certain she isn't onboard with the with Judy and Nick being an item. Expressions and a lack of presence can sometimes speak volumes and well her wide eyed stare when Stu was happy for the mixed couple and her not being at least in the background kinda speak to her not supporting the idea of Judy and Nick being more than partners in the ZPD.

Ok, so far, I'm loving this. A bit concerned though. If I recall correctly, Water Under The Bridge, to which this is supposedly a sequel, although very good was a bit dark and violent at times. Hopefully we won't be in for a jarring tonal shift.

Wow....Just Wow, I've been looming over the Zootopia comics,Parodies and Gifs,but this one has so much impact and drama into this I can't help but feel like this should have been an aftermath of the Movie, The comic starts off light giving me warmth and feeling happy while during the middle it pushes me to feel sad yet angry. It brings forth a variety of emotions to me that I haven't dealt in awhile and to my imagination I find it on a site like this. Keep up the good work as I look forward to reading more and more of it.

I'm curious about the recipe for their borscht. I was curious and looked it up seeing that the ingredients is meat and even the stock is typically made by boil meat, bones, or meat and bones. Maybe I probably overlooked them saying it is meatless.

Yeah, either those pots are bombs(those Lynxes are apparently mechanics/engineers, which most real life bomb-makers have backgrounds in), or that borscht is poisoned(probably with Nighthowlers). And with the resident cops too busy with their own drama to pay attention, I don't see this ending well.

In fact, now that Bonnie has been redeemed, whatever's about to happen, she's most likely going to be the first one to get it. That'll really heap on the mental and emotional trauma with Judy, since her last memory of her mother will be of an argument.

The author either didn't know about patronymic naming or simply assumed the majority of the audience wouldn't. Remember, the average reader of the fic speaks english as a first language, with others speaking Spanish and, apparently, Russian. Mead may have just kept the name Yevgenyevich regardless in order to establish the connection to the prequel story, without actually keeping things strictly linguistically accurate.

I guess it'll have to be fixed in the Russian translation ;)

This particular (awesome if I can say) comic by Mead, is the continuation of a fanfiction that is posted with the uploader comments. The actual fanfiction starts with Judy and Nick not actually together yet and mentions the brother of the Lynx cat thing. I'm not sure what happened in the story, have to read it sometime... but i have to say that some tension is coming off of Judy when she realizes who the female Lynx is. You would have to read the fanfiction to understand the Lynx's situation. Also, I think Nick is rubbing his arm, because he's nervous due to thinking she wants revenge.
