@Blind Disco. Actually, 1941. Archie started publication as a 2 Page Newspaper Comic Strip. Back in the 1930s-1940s, Comic Strips were Larger,full colored and had up to 20 panels instead of up to 4.

And FYI, The Token Black Guy in Archie name is Chuck Clayton. He's a Cartoonist and was first introduced in 1971.

There's a really gross trend of exaggeration by artists "Blacked" scenarios or Western NTR; ***** this or big black cock. The reason for the exaggerated dialogue, I was once told, is that this is essentially meant to be the halfway point to bestiality.

In other words, the exaggerated idea of the BBC is meant to dehumanise the black guy. Essentially its for people that aren't ready for watching women get fucked by horses even though that's what they really want.
