First Asanagi with photoshopped photos in his latest book and now ShindoL fails to actually finish his doujinshi for the second comi an a row (TSF4 had unfinished pages too). I can only imagine that doing this and the Mildred one at the same time must have taken a toll on him but that's kind of sad considering that we haven't got anything real good from him for almost a year.

The hero, at the least, died. That said, death is cheap in DQ. According to page 44, those two are scrapped character designs. They'll probably never appear properly anywhere.

It's a DQ thing. When a party member dies, their over world sprite becomes a coffin. When you bring that coffin to a church, the priest will ressurect that party member. The last page has the Hero waking up in front of a priest in a coffin.

EDIT: Just noticed the second coffin behind her. Looks like they all died.

Huh, that's kinda confusing, and a little depressing. Did they all die in childbirth or something? At first I thought Anri had experienced some kind of vision of the Bad End they would experience if they went on their course, and snapped out of it still kneeling in front of the king; but I guess that does seem like she's sitting in a coffin.
