knight hears of a "great evil" in the woods, goes to fight it. Stumbles around in the woods for a while, gets bespelled for staying too long, is turned slowly into a doe, and then a very pregnant doe, and just when she's about to get out, she's sufficiently modified to no longer want to leave, preferring to get plowed by the local stag(?) (who is probably the great evil. given the varied eye, it might be every creature the knight/deer meets, shapeshifted).

Pretty straight forward.
