Fen wants the trip down memory lane and heartache blvd to end. I kinda feel like he would of honestly pursued a relationship with her, even tried to explain himself not that she would of let him, while the blabbermouth bitch seems to be enjoying twisting the emotional knife in Fen's guts.

I haven't thought about it much but how did Fen come to that temple and why Fen's dad left a recording for her there? How could he be so sure she would eventually be there and had it set she must state her true name? In the first chapter we have Fen arrive at the temple then learn arts of the black tip then in 1.5 we see her in a dream with a dragon talking to her, in their tongue I assume, before telling her to awaken to which she does wake up screaming scaring the red panda girl she was sleeping with. There are things no one seems to ponder like how could Fen have had contact with Librarian Archive Recovery System 999 years and 11 months .... Nevermind maybe I'm just thinking too hard about something that will eventually be revealed.

I gonna say it I think Pirius or whatever is a guy and an ass and I think oldboy who took a bucket back in the day is trying to be sincere just that little asshole fox was adding fuel to the fires of her anger. Will she accept what has to say? Probably not. Will she do him bodily harm? I can't really say I mean she felt some genuine attraction toward and news about there being a bet is like stabbing her in the just wedge a blade in her heart.

I tend to find myself rolling my eyes whenever this happens - one person is hurt and so they refuse to listen to an explanation, solidifying any misunderstanding into reality. It just feels like a sitcom-tier cliche.

The reason a lot of things get tweaked and switched around as I go is because the comic's actual purpose is a practice project to improve my skills ;) Think of it as a first draft, everything is subject to change until the end, at which point I'll be redoing the entire thing over the course of as little time as I possibly can in order to publish this as a physical book. When that time comes, I'll be realigning all the world building stuff to match what it looks like at the end, rewriting a lot of things that are handled poorly right now, and unifying the art style of the entire thing. :3 At the moment, the vast majority of world building and lore is a case of "Ooh, y'know what'd be cool.."

That said, I'm not really retconning the first chapter at all, Lamb was never in a relationship with Fen, they're just fuck buddies and good friends, and males are still not allowed in the temple, which is why these two are in the tower rather than the temple proper right now.
