Comics are a visual medium, so why is there full paragraphs of written exposition over stickman doodles? Why is there a rage comic face when they haven't been relevant for about five years?

It's like the comic equivalent of downloading an erotic audiobook only to find someone's randomly spliced dated memes like "NOPE, IT'S CHUCK TESTA" throughout it.
