@The Goat Is Watching the distinction is in how the tag gender bender is used. I don't care how you define MtF or FtM. This is not consistent or representative of the gender bender tag. Looking at it, this flat out defies what Yuri tag is used for too. With gender bender I see the argument, but Yuri flat out specifies this pairing as not counting for that tag. But gender bender doesn't count futa for a similar reason as my objections to calling this gender bender. The kink is about a binary gender change as its used and sorted.

Genitals are a big focus on these tags because they are often the focus of sexual interaction. This makes lots of things binary gender wise often. Like how shemale counts under female but at the same time it's not allowed as being female on female or female on male. We use our descriptor as its title not the binary gender clarification to describe it. Saying it absolutely not MtF wasn't correct but I'm still right in that breasts don't make you a female because males growing breasts is a separate kink and classified individually is what I meant. To those who are suggesting that this isn't gender bender, the e-hentai definition of gender bender doesn't specify genitalia anywhere. If a dude gets turned into a shemale (Woman with a dick but no vajayjay) then it's gender bender. Same for a guy turning into a futanari.

Gender bender is a much broader tag than some of you seem to think it is, and it covers any change from one gender to the other. As far as porn is concerned, that means their overall appearance and secondary sex characteristics are changed to look like the other gender. Gender bender for a male character means they develop tits and take on an overall feminine appearance. For a female character, it means the opposite of that.

That's as specific as the tag gets, adding anything else is venturing into more specific territories.

What happens downstairs is optional, and that's why we have a bunch of different tags for this stuff.
