I love the idea that 2 girls who don't even understand each other walk around in a post-apocalyptic world and fall in love but the cheese ending really ruined it for me. The ending could have been

* both girls enjoy the rest of their lives knowing that they are the last of humankind (sad ending)
* those 2 girls stumble across a human civilization where lesbians live as well
