So part 1-3 is the only part that seem cannon ok I guess the guy didn't meet Dawn here then, it seem like this is a different story or alternate timeline to erase the events of part 4 and this reality has no color so I guess in this multiverse this is the sin city of the other version, and making the guy feel guilty of what he did to Dawn sister and there Mother makes her appearance here.

Im sure he'll add the color in again whenever he'e done like before.

@Ultima it's a flashback, look at the coloring. In most comics and manga a flashback either uses greyscale or a black boarder, lemonfont here chose greyscale.

I love you, Lemonfont, but I gotta say the stronger story focus and stuff feels like a double-edged sword.

We gotta remember this started out as a series about some guy encountering a girl who claimed to be a shapeshifter and hit it off with her because she could be a futa if he wanted her to. We went from a bunch of sexual tags up there to...mostly nothing sexual. Hell, Dawn went from being introduced in an orgy to super serious when she seemed like she'd fake it even if paid to be. It's...kinda overwrought, somewhat overly serious and barely feels like it should be porn at all...or that it was to begin with. Don't get me wrong, from a writing perspective that's good, and it's interesting to see him turn it into something more, but it's starting to feel like an actual committed divergence should happen.

Rework the more sexual bits of story and make it SFW. Maybe keep some of the core plot beats for the NSFW version and make it more about porn and not a pretty somber tale about trying to date a girl who's got to hide her real self from the rest of the world, or doesn't know her true self and has to struggle with not being normal.

It worked perfectly with Pochi-goya's stuff, she's publishing both a NSFW and SFW version of her Elder Sister series. If not, I feel it really should come down to a decision.

Make this over again, but SFW. Or light up the mood and remember it's supposed to be porn with plot, because it's slowly gone from that to plot with porn to...just plot.

Personally, I feel the concentration shifting from the smut to the plot is fine. Lemonfont went from a relative unknown to a highly popular artist thanks to the Shapeshifter series, which put a lot of pressure on him to make continuations. And once you start using the same characters in different scenarios, you inevitably start to flesh them out into more than just smut or expository inserts. Besides, the shift from a purely sex driven relationship to a more emotional one happens almost all the time, be it the fictional relationship between the fictional characters or Lemonfont's with his own work.

Besides, Lemonfont puts out plenty of stuff that still fits the ever expanding 'niche' of transformation/expansion comics. And the spinoffs for the Shapeshifter universe have usually been very heavy on the smut.

That look on Faye in 027 crushes me, It's conveying so much sadness and despair. I know shit's about to get real and although I'm interested in seeing that (because you're so fucking good at story telling and the art is getting superb) I also want more happy times with Faye and Michael. Either the case I'm following this chapter until the end. I love you Lemonfont, thank you for making my lonely nights so awesome.
