At least for pages that are not in color do make the minimal effort to change the editing mode to grayscale; that alone cuts space occupation by nearly 2/3 (your hard disk too will be grateful).
For example, using the last page (pg32.png) as baseline :
original version: 7.76 MB (8'146'824 bytes)
grayscale: 2.87 MB (3'016'893 bytes)
If you want to shave some more space, you can decrease the color depth to 32 colors. With this high a resolution, and on pages that use screentones such as these, for all purposes it's unnoticeable.
32-colors: 1.57 MB (1'653'496 bytes)
Then, descending into diminishing returns, you can save another 7-8% running PNGOUT on the files (but it's kinda slow) .
32-colors, PNGOUT: 1.44 MB (1'518'965 bytes)

BTW please consider this as advice for your future uploads. Doing it now that you've already published the gallery doesn't actually fix anything, it only forces the servers to store another version, wasting even more space.

Anyway as much as I like stories like these, I always end up wishing death upon the men. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy rape stories more than I do vanilla ones, but in stories where the government is involved in some way and they justify their BS with "its the law", it always make me wonder exactly how the hell those laws were passed in the first place. For it to work in Japan, all of the free world would need to either pass the same laws or it needs to be in a scenario where the rest of the world was either destroyed or was unable to stop Japan.

Stories like these make me wish that American troops swooped in and killed all those rapists... then took the women for themselves. But might just be me.
