It's most likely that he's the rabbit who appeared in No Remorse and Second Chances, two of Naylor's previous comics. He's a rabbit whose brother was married to Jessica before divorcing her, and last we saw of Trent he was married and living with a female cat. After the end of Second Chances, it's unclear whether or not he's divorced himself.

The lower half of his body was seen in a series of pictures Naylor drew of Mai and Minh during time off, so it's most likely that this is the Trent I'm talking about.
