I liked the first couple and last chapters the most, though that one part with him and the other woman (not brown) was important for his development as seen in the last chapter.
The cucking early on while she goes and tries out sex with other guys only to come back to him with preference sucked. Brown was nice, though the near-rape scene after that was the worst and so bad lots of us thought that killed the series. Took ages to get the last chapter which we all assumed would be protag and his actual mom, even just once, but it wasn't.

Turns out Toguchi used the last chapter as a reconciliation between the main girl and the kid instead. Since it felt so out-of-place and almost realistic how she reacted in that not-rape scene it really makes sense he would dedicate so much time to returning back from that. It's not something a couple pages alone would fix, and he uses that return dynamic to reestablish the romance and lead into a happy ending very few of us expected (not told in this way, anyway). I still think this sucks because of the early cucking and the fat oldguy not-rape chapter, but the dedication it took to pull up after that nose-dive and how decently it seems to have been handled really almost makes it forgivable. I mean, if you have a scene like that then you better handle it properly and Toguchi...actually did!

I really want that last chapter translated. This might be the most emotional work he's done yet with the most characterization and arc. TO be honest I haven't seen a manga, let alone a tank, take the subject matter of a rape (I know it wasn't a rape but you can't deny the atmosphere and feel of the context during and especially afterwards) and actually handle it with feeling. It's really sweet how this ends. I genuinely like it - the ending, that is. Cucking and not-rape was garbage but the mangaka had a narrative reason for it (or he made one for it once reception was poor?) so it's okay I guess. 8/10
