These are pages from Himura Kiseki's amazing work that I've colored to match the anime. The pages I started with are kind of random but as I figure out what I'm doing style-wise I'll make it more sequential. I will update the gallery as I complete more, if I can figure out how to use e-hentai.

If I may make a suggestion, more subdued colours would work better for this. The Ai-chan pages and the ones with the twintailed red bikini girl with a blue float, those have good colours, while the rest of the bikini girls are a bit oversaturated.

@Himajin Breaker alright, thanks! I'm very new to this so the Ai-chan pages use colors taken right from the anime, as do the float girl as I thought she was Ai when I started. The others I googled around for to give some variation, but I'll keep that in mind.

Well I'm not sure if I did the update correctly, but I've added a couple more pages, including the first story page. That one took forever because of all the background detail. I also tweaked the color on the other bikini girls as suggested.

@Cartridge88 Sorry, the one-off bikini shots and such at the start of the gallery are a lot faster to do, so I'm trying to catch up so it's all here. I'll probably get back to the manga proper in the next week.

Beginning with 14 and 16 I'm doing something different with the eyes, and adding some detail to the background in these beach scenes. The annoying thing about doing them randomly as I have is that it's hard to follow the order I did them and how my process is (hopefully) improving.

14 is the same girl/palette as 5 if you want to compare the eyes.

Normally I'm not a fan of 'colorized' works, but this is actually pretty well done. Most people just use a mulipled layer and color over the halftone scanlines. But this is either removed the scanlines manually, or had clean outlines to begin with and did the coloring that way. Much better quality. People who simply must colorize works could learn a thing or two from th is.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Mostly I do it during downtime at work and because I love this series. I use photoshop gradient map layers and try to smooth out some of the scan noise. For C90 I started with the Korean translation version because it's the cleanest, none of the copies of C90 I could find were free of jpeg artifacts unfortunately.

I use photoshop with Gradient Map layers for the colors, the process has gotten more complex over time, and the eyes are remade with shapes and gradients.

On page 102 (the one with the cheerleaders), the girl in the center is Cheer-chan, another recurring character. You've given her the wrong hair color. Examine the color of her hair on the cover of Getsuyoubi no Tawawa Sono V: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DS5qkVJU8AAuKOR.png

Despite the blue discoloration on the cover, her hair color matches Ai-chan's on that same cover.

Yeah, she's one that never appears in the anime. I've looked at that cover with two different versions of her and made my best guess. The first version was based off fanart that I see now is all over the place, some even bright orange XD

Yeah, it's hard to determine, but judging by the cover and how her hair's colored in the blue Tawawa pics, she seems to have the same color as Ai-chan, rather than black hair.

No worries, I started doing this awhile before book VII came out, so there was no reference and I just picked colors. The eyes at least look pretty close, maybe should have a touch more red. Thanks for the heads up.

@H0R0 no, I made the tennis guy blonde randomly, and the baby a lighter blonde to match with Maegami-chan's hair. That said, once the second season of the anime is over I'll probably go back and adjust all of her colors, now that there are "official" source colors.
