I'm pretty sure most people won't mind if you don't edit the small text balloons that are only SFX,most people don't edit them.

The floating sfx, and the sfx in the small balloons, are rarely edited. Only by groups that have a lot of manpower, generally. People like MM3 offer to do it, but you have to pay more simply because of how time consuming and annoying it is to do each one.

And honestly, I can't say most readers even care about it. When people *do* take the time to do it, you'll find even after tons of people read it, only maybe one or two folks will notice and appreciate it. It's not really a big deal, and definitely not something you need to apologize for. I think most people (at least, I know I do) care more about having the translation nicely typeset. A good translation that is typeset nicely is pretty much the most important thing. All the little tiny things can come later, if you want, when you're more comfortable/experienced/have more free time.
