This is a interesting comic series. A world only populated by sexy monster girls and one human male that will turn the entire the monster girl's world on it's head. I hope that the magical artifacts of the monster girl's world are really just ordinary objects from our world like a T.V., a old computer, a gaming system, hentai comics, etc treated as ancient magical artifacts. And I wonder will the hero will try to mold monster girl's society to something similar to his world? Like him building his home and decorating it with the magical artifacts to make it feel like his old home and like him teaching the monster girls stuff from his world like how prostitution is use to buy for things even though the monster girls don't have concept of money but they do like the idea of using sex to trade for things of value then soon all monster girls have started using it and adapted the concept of using sex as currency and making it as their main monetary. And will there a nerdy monster girl that loves to learn about the culture of human males by studying old artifacts from human world but due to her artifacts being hentai comics and animes most of her information on human males culture are misinterpreted wrong like thinking that most human males penis is so big that they use it as a weapon or that human males can grain magical powers through sex. Thanks for your comments @BeReasonable ! You're sort of right about what the magical artifacts are going to be. They are relics of the old world, but they're... putting it bluntly going to be pretty obviously just be ancient sex toys with magical powers. I don't want to comment on too much of what you're saying though, as I have plans for a lot of them and I don't want to reveal stuff too early. Also, it's not going to get too heavy into the world building as you're expecting. Like there will still be a good amount of it, but not so much delving into his relationship with this current one vs the old one. I want the focus to be on lighthearted, comedic and at times romantic magical sexventures first and foremost. Also, things like economy and such vary differently from Monster to Monster. Some monsters have small societies with currency while others, typically beast girls, just stay out in the wilds.

I will say you've correctly guessed that the relics of hentai manga and such have led to modern day monsters having a... very misinterpreted version of what men used to be like. That one is indeed going to be a plotpoint.

Very good way to put it! I didn't set out to intentionally invert that specific series, but it's very much from my own desire for there to be less femdom monster girl hentai. I like a good femdom now and again, but I wanted the Hero to the opposite of the usual monster girl protagonist.

@dejaclwm Both types exist, but specifically she's a kobold. I'm going by D&D style rules for this so Kobolds are short lizard people. I'm trying to keep the anthro characters to a minimum but I know not everyone will like them, but my audience right now is mostly furries. There will be a few bones I throw to them in MHFAP. There will only be 2 girls who are more anthro in the Hero's harem out of the planned 10 or so, so I'm hoping people will respectfully understand that.

But this is the internet and I know people will just tell me to yiff in hell despite the anthro girls being incredibly small part of the cast lol.

Plus there are furries in pretty much every main monster girl series. Just like me they're in it, but they take an incredibly small part of the roster. MGE has Cait Sith, Kobold and a few others while Mon Musu has Polt. There's just some overlap between furry and monster girl!

It's probably because 18+ monster girl genre tend to either have the male protagonist be a complete doormat like Luka, or a complete asshole like Rance (can't think of anyone iconic enough in the genre itself, but there are demon girls in Rance universe so I guess he counts). Birds do technically have the bones for the equivalent of fingers. It’s just all but one of them have fused together to make the outer span of the wing’s bracing. There’s a vestigial little thumb-analogue that still exists. It’s not inconceivable Tali would at least have opposable thumbs and potentially one other finger. It would have a distinct evolutionary advantage to be able to grasp things, especially when you consider she’s sentient as are all harpies. Without a beak and the associated long tongue, she’d have very little way of manipulating her environment otherwise.

Also, considering she’s most likely a mammal given her humanoid anatomy, her birdlike features are simply convergent evolution. It would make mor sense if her wings’ structural anatomy was more like that of a bat’s and the feathers are just superficially similar to a bird’s. They could also have gone with the pterosaur route where only the pinky is the base for the wing and all the other fingers are free.

Regardless, having her ‘hands’ at the ends of her wings is anatomically weird as shit. ALL winged vertebrates have wings that use the finger bones as structural components of the wings, with them controlling the tips of the wings. Having them at the ends makes her arms ridiculously long and bulky. More accurate anatomy would’ve been to have normal upper arm length, stretched forearms, large hands, and elongated fingers that are an integral parts of the wings.

I am actually aware of a lot of what you just said. In a lot of my earlier sketches for Tali's design I actually tried some of the things you were talking about but decided I like this current design as it allows me to be extremely expressive with her hands. The older designs just didn't look all that good in my style. Although I was very closely going to go with a three fingered pterosaur design at one point!

I appreciate all the actual biology comments and it's fascinating and all but at the end of the day I was more concerned with creating a fun and memorable, expressive design than scientifically accurate lol. My best friend is also a biologist and he helped teach me all about wing structure, so I don't want to sound pompous or anything but I am actually well aware regarding wing structure. I just chose to simplify it drastically.
