What a negligent mother, leaving her (assumed) son alone with a bunch of strange guys who you've likely never seen him have out with and just taking them on their word that they were your son's friends. Oh, don't mind the fact that your son likely has never mentioned ever having friends and tends to come home covered in bruises, I'm sure they're the right people to leave your ill son alone with.

I’d hate for it to end there. Nothing was actually resolved; the story feels incredibly unsatisfying. Coupled with the theme of bullying and fear, even the great art can’t save it from being depressing. We need a chapter where the two jerks get their shit pushed in and the MC’s life changes for the better instead of just... changing.. with no purpose.
