She doesn't have 100 speech, just a pheromone that brain washes people. It was mentioned in a previous picture though it wasn't part of the Rika - Naga series, it was the same Melinda. You can even see the purple haze surrounding the mothers as she "seduces" them. They are literally getting mind controlled into being her prey. As far as we know, every single person she ate, was manipulated into doing so as she never mentions being able to turn the pheromone off. Even those with stronger wills like Sora and Rika eventually just give up. Note that while she suggests that they "find their path" not a single one ever gets pred - not even when playing or practicing. Its prey every time. The whole "love" and "desire" speeches are mostly just fluff and filler before the meal.

Rereading this, uhm...yeah, no matter how much narration is trying to convince us otherwise, no matter how much natsumemetalsonic breaks the fourth wall for a show-don't-tell violation of an exposition dump, Melinda is absolutely not taking willing victims. Otherwise there wouldn't be that pink haze. The haze is SHOWING us a predation tactic. Lamias (and I won't call them nagas, because Melinda is human from the waist up) are evolved to chemically induce compliance in their prey, allowing them to eat them without a struggle.
