@funkwolf I feel what we see is a bit skewed due to the taste of scanners, though i do feel Piero is going this route as he thinks his style meshes far better with disturbing content than with light hearted stuff.

Edit: on the other hand some artists went the opposite route, going from rape/etc to vanila.
