Speaking of which, this guy seems to have a habit of writing protagonists who are ludicrously unrepentant assholes. Not even just NTR types of guys, they're just... serious, misogynistic dicks. This carries over into his other work, as well.

Well yes, like 90% of Hentai Doujins that makes darker hentai manga's have to substitute a lot of common sense and plot for extreme clichés for the progression of the story when they use a style that is harder than some others. And let's at least agree on that Kotoyoshi Yumisuke drawing style is one of the most intriguing and expressive while being just mindbogglingly sexy sometimes.

But even in this story arc I can't agree on the notion that they are especially misogynistic, even though most of the characters have either just unlikeable traits up to just deplorable one's. But their behaviour is not directed at more than one or a few women, not misogynistic just because it's towards a woman but it's definitely behaviour one will find little to no redeeming qualities

And let's be honest the women aren't much better either. But to make the plot go faster it's easier to do as he does since as I think we all know men have the annoying burden of being the agent in the chase of sexual congress in almost all situations. And making the woman the asshole would not make the same impact since we naturally don't feel the same threatening agency of women and it's more complicated and you will often have to build a lot more background for the story.

So to sum it up: It's a lazy cop-out so one doesn't have to think about the plot more than necessary to have the characters have sex hen it comes to grimmer categorise since in the vanilla direction it's not needed that much to further the plot to the sex part. And all he is doing is just playing the most convenient stereotypes and cliches. Because the hentai that actually has interesting characters and plot usually don't have as much time spent on the drawing, you are at the wrong side of the hentai world if you are looking for something that is not just mindless FAP material. (Though Kotoyoshi Yumisuke - "Omoitattara Chichijitsu" has the same drawing quality but with vanilla characters)
