You were not lying at all. The difference between the two releases is, quite frankly, astounding. What a stellar improvement in their art! Not only did Aoki's general artstyle improve (bodies are drawn better, more realistically, etc) he improved on his shading, posing and placement, angles... A lot of the ways the panels look was changed from the last one to this one, and it makes everything fit a lot nicer and flow better. It's really cool to see such a comparison like that.

Seriously, the art in this doujinshi rivals some of the best I've seen in general, so amazing stuff. And that's to say nothing of the story, which was incredibly goddamn cute as well. Poor Titi, attacked by humans ;_; But the story was so cute and happy. I enjoyed it a lot. I mean seriously, when her face brightens up with joy in the last page when they're talking about the 'special meaning of bringing a man to the village' and he said he wanted to get married... I mean, my heart practically collapsed on itself.

We need more Lamia doujinshi!

It indeed is nice to see artists go back and redraw old works years later after they've improved (Tamagoro is my favorite that does this). Especially given that the original of this came out before monster girls had become as commonplace as they are now. I can still see my old upvotes from the original versions RAW and ENG gallery wanting more lamia works, guess I got that wish. :D

It was incredible to see Aoki Kanji redo his Pretty Lamia doujinshi. It's even more incredible to see it retranslated into English and to see just how much better we've gotten as a community at typesetting and hand-drawing moans. This is a great work all around and e-hentai is made a better place for having it uploaded.

I'd like to give a quick shout-out to White Symphony's Rokusanji—without his help there wouldn't be scans for us to work on—and also to LWND who released the scans.
The art is new, but so is a decent amount of the dialogue, so I translated this version from scratch rather than work off desudesu's translation of the original one.

It's pretty interesting to compare these side by side. There's so much detail now, and Toto's darker skin fits the setting much better. Weirdly enough, even if the new version is mostly an improvement for her as well, Tete/Titi sometimes looks much more cute in the original version, though, especially her smile on the last page.

man, this is so nostalgic and amazing at the same time. i've read the original back then, and this new ver completely shows how aoki kanji has vastly improved over the years.

the story is as sweet as ever. definitely a masterpiece that transcends time.

now all we need is a sequel or at least an epilogue for this.

Just in case anyone's as confused as I am at the transition between page 8 and 9 — where they start fucking even though the guy kinda turned her down — it was actually a mistranslation on both desudesu's and team koinaka's versions; though desudesu's at least make the last line kind of work as an awkward transition.

A closer translation for page 8 would be:
Toto: I would be troubled if you say that; I'll become unable to send you off.
Titi: ... The truth is ... you don't want to send me off... right?
Toto: I told you, questions like that put me in a tight spot.

Glad to be of help! I just find the transition odd on both translations and decided to look it up to sate my curiosity. And yeah, the を is certainly the giveaway here.

I translated it rather literally in the comment, but I would've went with "I'd become reluctant to send you off" rather than "I'd be unable to send you off" just to make it sound nicer (￣▽￣;).
