This is a cliché? I'm not being sarcastic, as I'm truly curious and cause reversal is fucking hot. I mean, searching femdom, mind break and English brings up just 15 pages of doujins and Manga. Of that, plenty are Yuri and the Mangas have a low probability of having reverse femdom.

Others are just straight up rape, so femdom reversal(God we really need a tag for this) is, at best, just 5 pages. That's not a lot compared to NTR at 144 pages. I'd say it's right behind in "converting Yuri girl to straight with power of dick" in rarity.

@josh1002 Personally speaking I find reversals to be a turn-off since they undermine the whole loss of control and power dynamic aspect that is the appeal of femdom, the fetish has its origins in S&M culture afterall. If it's that easy to subvert, no sell it and break free from it, it ends up giving the impression that the majority of the scenes prior to the reversal were just filler. it's counter-intuitive to what the fetish stands for.

And yes it is quite common, mate. Like every second or third Japanese femdom tagged Manga or Doujinshi story that isn't from Girls forM will have some variation of a "lowly arrogant domme wench sees the light and submits to the overwhelming power of the dick " reversal ending. If you just search for "femdom" you'll get plenty of Western and Artist CG galleries, which might dilute the picture a bit, but that type of ending is very common in female on male "femdom" tagged Manga and Doujinshi stories. If it doesn't happen then the male sub is usually a shota. Most of those galleries don't get tagged with "mind break" due to the presence rule and the reversal only happening at the very end. So searching for "femdom" + "mind break" won't show you the full scope. Using NTR as comparison is also misleading, since the NTR tag often gets misused due to the popularity of the "cuck" term, but I digress.

The problem is femdom is already a pretty niche fetish in Japanese hentai as it is, and that sort of ending makes it feel like the author wants to have their cake and eat it, too, giving the reader a more "mainstream hentai" type ending. If you enjoy the "table turning", more power to you. Clearly there is a wide audience for it, especially in Japan, given how many authors do that type of ending. I do agree that a seperate tag for this type of "power dynamic role reversal" would be at least somewhat helpful, so that people who are into it could seek it out, while people who aren't into it could try to avoid getting it while searching for actual femdom. But tags introduced this late into the game usually end up being underutilized anyway, so it probably wouldn't change the situation all that much.
