Just about every cuntry on the planet invaded Russia in 1918 to try to prevent the Bolshevik revolution. The main reason is similar to why the KKK became a thing; in both cases it was the fear of retribution for past injustices that all countries had committed. Here is the kicker: what gov't system did the Bolsheviks implement that was so threatening to just about every nation? Democracy. Full unrestricted universal suffrage. Churchill and most other leaders thot Bolshevik = Jew. They did have disproportionate numbers in leadership, but not by an enormous amount. Christians were still terrified, as were capitalists, as were monarchists. The weird thing is France led the charge, and they wouldn't negotiate for peace. They just wanted to wipe out all the revolutionaries. Weird cause they just had their own revolution and fought the English during the French Indian war AKA the 7 years war that basically made America happen. (It was a war of attrition, so England tried to tax the colonies extra to replenish their coffers.) Guess who started that war, by accident? George Washington. Really, look it up. At that time he was loyal to England, but a real Thomas Paine in the ass gave him some Common Sense. You would think the USA would LIKE Russia having a democracy- but we didn't like it, didn't want it to spread over here. It would mean giving women and Black people the vote. Well, it was too late. Women got it in 1920, Blacks in 1965. The fact that we invaded Russia and without provocation made war on the Bolsheviks (who turned into the Soviets) and refused to acknowledge their country until 1933 made us even more fearful of retribution. Already we were scared of Jewish backlash. This is why the cold war happened. JFK tried to make peace with the Commies. Its why he was killed. Its why Obama staged he Euromaiden idiocy. And it might be why full-scale nuclear war happens in the near future.
