Let's see, fantasy setting with demihumans and bits of violence. A man-eating crocodile gets caught, but is bought by performers for their escape artist's act. It appears to be mostly a freak show, and while the girl's physically normal, she has masochistic tendencies and a desire to be eaten. At some point, a fight breaks out between the performers and the ringleader is murdered. The band falls apart and the girl and the gator are left alone. She still wears the key from the act around her neck.

Once in the past, the croc was irritated and had eaten the girl's eye during a practice session. She fantasizes about what it would have been like if he'd ever eaten her in front of a live audience. He admits the first bit of human flesh he'd had after so long was delicious. They continue where they left off and slow, oddly romanticized hard vore happens. The croc callously taunts her the whole way, and after the final bite, shrugs there's no reason left to stick around. Something clinks against his foot.

Years later, the stage was demolished and its plot converted into a park. The man-eating croc is spotted again in the nearby sewer and killed. But the closest thing to human remains they found in him was a single rusted key. The remains and trinket are incinerated for disposal, and in time nobody would remember the stage, the performers, or the man-eating crocodile.

Wow, this made me tear up a bit. Could only read the general dialogue but managed to piece together some of the other bits thanks to @craigj, big props.
It's just so very tragic..akin to a pair raised and scraping by in a slum then choosing to depart on not what's necessarily deemed healthy or sane, but on terms they could rightfully call their own when their rickshaw world mired in exploitation-for-entertainment inevitably falls apart. Fading away with your only friend in a warehouse, pulse slowing as the OD trip both makes you feel more alive than you've ever been while simultaneously drifting you away on dandelion-hued sheets of slumber to the lilac sky of eternal dream, August no more.
At least that's how I chose to interpret it, thanks to page 7 that's positively SATURATED with Inganock vibes. Same goes for the setup; "circus escape artist & man-eating crocodile", christ. Just pump that melancholic despair topped with a warped sense of romance right into my veins. Excellent work.
