Interesting. As stated in my uploader comment, can you objectively state which parts of my scan has lower quality compared to the other? Just saying it's worse without further explanation doesn't say much for me.

I've compared the two. Here's what I've noticed on my end. This scan has:
-Cleaner front and back pages (less to no scan dusts)
-Consistent image size
-Less aggressive descreening on black and whites pages (meaning sharper images)
-Has the missing pages (namely pages 25 and 26)
-Has a larger 29.03mb file size but that's because this is PNG and the other is JPG

Before we get any strange ideas, this is not a jab at GrandeOrder. This is what I found different from our scans. So, don't take it personally.

PS: Also, I didn't actually had that expunged you know. You can actually check who expunged the other gallery by checking the "Show expunge log" which you can still do so as AriesWarlock kindly linked the expunged gallery.

While I'd like to hear from the RIGperu himself, Your input is appreciated. Term you're looking for is screening. That matters a lot more in colored images as opposed to black and white. Reason being that screened colored images shows actual RGB dots if you look close enough. Descreening mostly removes that and makes it smooth but blurs the image in the process. For black and whites, that's not really the case. All it does is it muddies the picture.

I agree that grande's scan has higher black and white contrast but that's about it. If you look carefully at the lines especially at their eyes where bonnie decided to scribble it, the details are a lot more obvious in mine. I actually thought about raising the contrast in mine, but the problem with that is if you raise the contrast with an already sharp image, it will actually start to hurt your eye if you stare at it long enough. So, this is the contrast level that I've decided on.

BUT i assume you already know this to a degree since you're referring to the "uninitiated eye" as your response. Thanks for your insight.

That's ultimately it actually. The other gallery is incomplete and I noticed that 1 week has passed which gave me a valid enough reason to release mine. THOUGH, i would still have released mine just because the cover art in the other scan is so dirty. :p

I'm not a scanner, so complete layman, but suffice it to say:

The other scan simply looks better to the uninitiated eye.

Tab back and forth between these images; I think most laymen will pick the second image. Its lines and shades are more vivid, and the pixellation (I don't know what else to call it) is less noticeable. The greater contrast sacrifices some black-level detail, but to me it's worth the trade-off.

Comparing scans is always a subjective thing. I agree the other one has better blacks but it's also noticeably dirtier than this one, compare:

More importantly, the other one is incomplete, which causes this one to take precedence. If the other uploader wants to update their gallery both stay up as alternative scans.
