this artist sucks at snake girl anatomy. not only did it look like her tail split into two before merging but there was even a scene where it looked like the tail only came out of where the right leg would be, and only the right leg. (refer to the bottom of page 19 and 20 respectively)

How does this work. First off, basilisks are supposed to have plumage and apparently claw-like hands.

But that's not the biggest problem, that would be how in the fuck do you keep switching which side the vagina is on? That doesn't work like that when there's body in the middle. Plus there's other parts where the anatomy is way off, like what is going on, I couldn't even piece it together. Artist seems to be mixing up normal girls throwing their legs in the air and trying to shoehorn that into snake girls which doesn't work for obvious reasons.

Also everything dude says about basilisks are wrong but he doesn't sound too smart, and in the end her actual power of relaxing the muscles instead of tensing them appears to be correct, although it's supposed to be almost lethal.

It turns out everything I thought I knew about Basilisks was based on prejudice.

If you’re gunna do a basilisk at least know what it is artist. Either a giant snake that has a hell of a smell, is really poisonous and has the petrifaction eyes on top of that (which depending or source is either a fear lock up style petrify, relaxation, or literal stone). Other forms include 90% Rooster with a snake tail, Rooster with entire body covered in scales/snake tail, and a lizard with a roosters head. In all cases they keep the same ability set (and yes, Cocktrices look the same and they are effectively inverse basilisks that England didn’t want to be called basilisk, main difference is cocktrices usually have wings, also their glare,breath, being in the area of one just kills you). Also all basilisks have a crown like protrusion on their head, and usually if a rooster head is present have chicken legs.

So if you wanted to make a basilisk, make it a scaly harpy with some feathers and snake tail, with a rooster’s crown (wings optional, and could be either feathery or dragon like). Then give her a poisonous (aphrodisiac) bite and a glare that makes you freeze up, with a really strong smell. Oh, and a fear for Weasels that don’t give a single fuck.

Like it could have just been like
1) Do Good Deed -> Expectation: Get Laid, nothing new happens. Not very engaging, but who gives a fuck?
2) Get saved from imminent death -> Expectation: "Now we're even, let's fuck." Instead, 'let me act like an asshole and continue to test your patience even though I want to survive'
