What I didn't appreciate was principally the fact that you try to cover this bad quality with a "It's to make it easier to read". No. That doesn't "make it easier to read". It just show that the editor was lazy as f*** and didn't bother to do his work. He was so lazy that he even forgot to place one of his black boxes...

So I believe you should do a little QC before accepting to pay for something like that in the future. If you want, you can use the bounty system in order to find a good editor, you just need to warn him that you will do the QC before he can claim the bounty. Moreover, if you use this system, then you might find out that I'm an editor myself... so... Yeah. I might clean this myself in the future (still have to do some other bounties first).

@fireball84 The problem will stay basically the same even with the bounty system: You won't be able to know if the translator or the editor have some decent skills&motivation. However you should be able to have more control over your own demands. For example, you can ask him to give you a sample in order to check his skills before you reserve the bounty for him. If the quality is too low, you can either negociate/ask him to add/modify something or simply tell him that you don't think he can work on this bounty. You can also try to check their previous works (translation/edition).

However the most important part will probably be to do a QC (quality check) before the translator/editor can claim the bounty. It's more difficult to find out if a translation is good or bad so you might need to go on the forum and try to find another translator and ask him to do a simple check. The same method is valid with editors but it's easier to find out if there is a problem somewhere as long as you check the pictures and compare them to the originals. But if you are unsure, then you can also find another editor on the forum and ask him to do the QC.

Once the quality is met then you will be able to give the permission to claim the bounty to the translator/editor. Once they claim the bounty, you can accept their claim. You will have what you wanted and they will have their rewards.

I did a little check on the original files (raw) of Sword Art Lilycization: The quality isn't that good but it's still usable. And like I thought, it isn't too difficult to clean it. So I think I will clean it once I complete the bounties that I'm currently doing&targeting. Also: Please accept my apologies concerning the tone of my previous messages... I was a little pissed off due to the fact that I had just seen 2 good works were ruined because of some editors, in a single day.
