I haven't been on here for a couple of days and just wanted to see what the consensus was. First I want to say this is my 3rd edit of my uploader comment. I feel like I should recap the last two out of honesty. First one was basically me stating my intentions with the comic and how I was implementing a different story. The second one was me deciding to put in an expunge petition since I felt like this wasn't a good work.

But now that I've come back and read more comments, I just want to say thank you to the guys giving me support. I'm brand new to this whole thing and "rewrite" was the word I was looking for, but decided to go with the stupid word "reimagination" thinking that was best in the title. I saw someone say that it should be changed to "rewrite" a few comments down and I decided to put in a petition to change the title. I would be greatful if who ever reads this join the petition (it's at 12% currently), so the proper title can be given to this work.

Along with that, I'm trying to see if I can get rid of my petition to expunge the gallery. I will say 100% this isn't a clean work at all. The commentator saying that my bubbles are off-putting is definitely correct. Considering I'm brand new to this, I just used paint 3D bubbles since the original bubbles were see through. I should've taken more time and energy to give this work proper care for you guy instead of slapping on some out of place bubbles haha. I was still riding high on the success of the Girls Fight Maya Hen comic and wanted to get something out quick.

Previously I said I was gonna quit doing comics based on an earlier comment, but now that I've come back to look I feel better about doing more rewrites. So I want to say again thank you to the comments giving me kind words and critique. I'll definitely keep it in mind moving forward. Instead of using the dumb word "reimagination" (lol), I'll be clearly stating "REWRITE" in the title.

Stop doing this. This is so disrespectful to the artist. Either go all-in on translating or rewriting, not both. SOME changes for the sake of localization are fine, don't get me wrong, but this? This is disgusting.

It's not about liking it or not, or if it's an improvement over the original, or about wanting a 100% accurate translation, it's about it being just plain wrong. This is taking this artist's work and changing it into something it's not. The inaccuracies aren't mistakes, they're conscious decisions, they're you looking at the work and deciding you could do better. They're not adjustments to sentences to flow better and whatnot, they're changes that completely alter the message of the work.
Like, don't get me wrong, if this was JUST a rewrite I wouldn't give a fuck. Ain't my thing, but whatever, most things arn't. But trying to both translate the thing AND add in your own content? No. That's some 4kids bullshit.

@loloolol: Don't feel too bad; didn't mean for you to take it personally. The effort, at least, was good, and I'm not about to tell a translator to stop translating. Just learn from the mistake and pick a lane.
@loloolol, again: What a mess this has turned into. FYI, you don't need to petition to rename your own galleries. Go to "my galleries" up top and click the "manage" link for this upload. You can't delete your own galleries for reasons, but you CAN edit pretty much everything else.

I usually dont like rewrites but I dont mind this. Crimson Comics was never steller in the writing department anyway and you write pretty much exactly how they do. I feel like I would enjoy this just as much as a exact translation. I approve.
Rewrites will always get shit on this website, especially if the doujin is already translated correctly. But in this case it has never been translated and probably wouldn't be translated in the immediate future so I think its fine. There will be people who complain but there will also be people who enjoy it and are grateful. I personally hope you continue.

Also the guy saying "Either go all-in on translating or rewriting, not both" is absolutely wrong. If you know enough Japanese to understand the general story, then fill in the details with rewriting it will turn out much better than just making up a completely different story.

Dude I’m sorry you had to deal with that asshat up top. It was a decent story, but the bubbles were offsetting in my opinion. Still, when I got past that I actually enjoyed what you had. I can tell you put a lot of work into this, only to have some random guy shit on you.

Who gives a shit if this isn’t accurate, OP CLEARLY stated that both in the title and in the 3rd page. We’re all here just to jerk off to fucking Japanese cartoons basically, so if you don’t like content that it isn’t fully translated:
1) Stop being an ass and bully people just because it isn’t what you want
2) Leave those people alone, because there’s people out there who’re fine with this shit (perfect example being the Girls Fight Maya hen comic this guy posted being loved)
3) Translate it yourself if you’re so high and mighty sitting behind that monitor critiquing this guy as if you’re motherfucking Gordon Ramsey
