Mash's case was special, as her original seiyuu had to go on hiatus for medical/health reasons.

Also note that Shuten Douji's character design is based on her seiyuu's physical appearance (Yuuki Aoi has a similar hairstyle and is quite short in stature).

Mash was never a special case.
DW was simply too greedy to wait till she got better...

and really, if similar situation happened with Shuten and they didn't do the same thing simply because Shuten was modelled after her seiyuu.
Its simply prove how I am right and hoew they are a hypocrite for taking steps that focused on profits instead of the arts...

just like how Yuuki Aoi is irreplaceable as Shuten's VA so was Taneda Risa as Mash's...

its good thing DW has Taneda Risa's health as good excuse... even though if people think about it... the game can still continue even without changin her voice...

sure, thing won't be as big as now, they might get some losses but at least Mash will remain as Mash...
