I am not sure if that gallery should be marked as placed by this one. Someone please do it for me if that's the right thing to do.

Also, the digital download comes with only a .pdf file, and the .png files here were converted from it using ImageMagick. TBH I don't know how to tune the parameters for optimal quality and file size. As it is now, the resolution of the images might be unnecessarily big, though I think it's better than having quality loss.

Someone with more knowledge please enlighten me. For example, how do I find out the minimal -density value I can use without quality loss for a given .pdf file? Here's my command line with the legacy convert.exe in ImageMagick:
convert -quality 100 -density 600x600 -colorspace sRGB erona.pdf erona%d.png

p.s. I'm new to this .pdf to image conversion process; please pardon me for the unnecessary churns.

pdfimages (xpdf) is the software approved by genl. It doesn't include any anti-DRM function though.
rule of thumb: If you don't see raw (.ppm, .pgm, .pbm) extracting option, you are doing it wrong.

(let alone "density". makes no sense, the original images have original resolution. you can extract them as is.)

Tested with the sample pdf on dlsite, resolution of the .ppm / .pgm files are 1353 x1920 like the digital magazine releases. Would also encourage going to xpdfreader.com/download.html and getting the Xpdf command line tools from there.
