hate to break it to ya (although your probably aware of this) but unless you a: (fat) middle aged bastard, sex drugs, mind control, or 'girl being turned into sex slave from really good sex' we aint getting a sequel to the story.

honestly the story IS secondary but if the fuckin story cant fulfill its primary purpose for you the least you can get is a decent story but at the end of the day the authors have 3 choices

-A decent story

-exploiting a profitable market (exploiting might be a strong world but given the context of my argument it makes sense to use)

-good art
