@3DDD I love the concept here and a lot of the frames are good but there are occasional inconsistencies in the anatomy and linework that tells me the artist does not have a steady grasp on the fundamentals and/or is half-assing it. like, look at the claw hands on pg 6 and 7.
now whether or not there are marked improvements isn't really relevant, at least to me. as long as the style is consistently good I don't care. but for this kind of quality I wouldn't pay that much in a year let alone a month.
but it's also as you said. "if people are down - get that money..."
I'd imagine there are people that enjoy the story enough to overlook the issues with the art.
at least the framing is good.

I have been following for a long time and for what its worth, the quality of your artwork has improved from "omg fucking saved" to "I woke up at 3:40AM to check and refresh after the second update in so long only to get halfway through the newest page and cum in my underwear..." AND i find the story overall pretty gripping.. moving.. penetrating.. and love reingesting each frame and really getting into the dialogues both the internal and external ... THIS is quality and we should ALL hang our heads for not supporting you more.

Wow! That is HIGH PRAISE mcom1981!!! Thank you so much! People often forget that it's a human being behind the creation of these things... and in this case an artist. If you don't know what I mean by that, I'll explain: as an artist, this is a labor of love, and especially in this case, it's a very personal story to me (eg. I'm not working for Marvel drawing someone else's characters while someone else writes the story etc). So, every time I push enter to update this gallery, or put myself out there on reddit, -every time- it feels like I'm tell the whole world my deepest, most guarded secrets, and just hoping you wont rip me apart for it. That's probably the best way to I can describe it to someone who isn't an artist creating their own work. Imagine having to tell everyone around you the most embarrassing, or most hidden secret you have, and you do it daily or weekly. Its f-ing scary guys! So when people give me praise, it's like going to an AA meeting and having people encourage you to face those addiction demons. It motivates me more than you could imagine! It gives me courage in ways most people can't relate. So Let me say Thank you again to everyone who has had my back!

For those who have given me critical feedback (like DarkShadows6): keep it coming! But just be kind, or constructive (which you were :D). At first I would get all offended by negative comments. I'd take the defensive position of, 'well what do the know!". Unfortunately that was a shitty way to face it. I realize, that critical feedback keeps me improving, and it keeps me on my toes so that I never get lazy or complacent. But like I said, it's scary to put yourself out there (especially with this subject matter... I mean... look at what I'm drawing lol). So my defensive position would be considered natural, but very egotistical. Because, if I'm offended by the comments, I cant hear what you are saying, and therefore I cant learn more, because I've already refused to listen to whatever good feedback you've given. But you've made some good points (especially about the hands), and so I shall take special note to work on it. :D

But I will add one final point though about my fees on Patreon: I have 3 tiers of subscription: $1 gives you access to the main comic, $5 gives you access to the main comic plus the image series sets, and the $45 category is for custom commissioned work, plus access to the previous tiers. Now! there is criticism on that being expensive... well let me break it down for you a bit so you understand that my prices are actually underrated! The $45 category - those images take anywhere for 4-6 hours to draw. So if you break that down to dollars per hour, im making $7.50-$11.25/hour. At that rate, I'm practically giving the artwork away for free. For the image series sets, I release them in batches of 4-6 pages a week and those take about 20-25 hours to complete, and for the main comic it takes 25-35 hours complete one page (depending on how many panels per page etc.) That includes the writing and all the type-setting (so drawing the chat bubbles and motion lines etc.). So when you say (DarkShadow6) that you wouldn't pay $5 a month, let alone in a year, that's kind of a big slap in the face. I also work a regular job because the amount I'm making so far isn't enough to live off of in North America, and my job is a creative job as well, which means I'm stretching the same creative muscles from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed, and I've been doing it now for 3 f-ing years! Im getting a little tired, but I love doing this, and I know that i'm building something from nothing, so I know I have to work harder than the average bear to get it done. But when you say, its not worth the minimum value that I charge because I draw claw hands on occasion because I'm just trying to get through some of the more boring pages to draw (which are hard to get done when you've already worked a full day designing some packaging for Tuna, or re-branding a local beverage to compete with Coca-Cola brands - Im a graphic designer by day btw), kinda feels like a kick to the junk! lol.

So in conclusion, I value the critical feedback, so keep that coming. I'll be happy to hear it if it helps me improve. But also, understand there is a person behind the art, and this person needs to make money off this if you want me to keep creating these comics. Which sucks! Because I wish I could just give it away for free, but as you can see from the break down, it's practically a full-time job to build these pages, and we live in a society where I need to eat and money is how we make that happen.

I was going by what the other guy said, I didn't know your tiers. $5 is a lot more reasonable. I appreciate your measured tone, and good on you for your attitude.

I took another look and probably the only real complaint I have like I said is the consistency, specifically with proportions and perspective. for example, on pg 2 compare the standing height of panel 1 to the kneeling position in the 3rd panel. homie looks like a squashed dwarf. upper arms have receded in length and the left forearm is deformed.

looking at pg 5, all the hands look some kind of weird, and it seems the number of fingers varies. the more I look at it the more I think this could be caused by too-wide inking, so that the fingers appear to melt together. daddy's fingers have a different issue though, his hand is too smooth when compared to the stark detail on the dude's face; look at the bottom left panel on 5 for example. also he's missing shading in the 4th panel.

I could keep going but I think you get the point.

it might not be the best business decision since it will upset your publishing schedule, but if I were you I would spend more time focusing on perspective, depth, and taking measurements to ensure consistency; I would also try to be more precise when inking.

[ps: it's clear you have talent and enjoy what you do, and at the end of the day it's your art and your style; what might be mistakes in some eyes might be perfect to you. look at bbmbbf, fucker hasn't improved a single iota and all his websites still suck ass, yet he rakes in mad money and still seems to enjoy it.]

I haven't personally noticed any art problems. I'm not an artist. I really enjoy your story. The BDSM elements are super hot. The writing doesn't feel transphobic to me as so often happens in comics with similar subjects (as a non-binary trans person). The inner monologues feel really good and in general I feel like the writing has successfully captured a sub's experience (as a sub horny for a Master/Daddy). The story and writing are suuuper fucking hot. I really like how you draw guys with bear builds and don't draw them as unhygenic, rapey, socially inept morons, and instead flatter their traits. (ex. Master pounding Yuki and completely dwarfing her in size and stature). The encounter with Sam on the train was funny and I also felt like it was well-written and realistic and squirm-inducing. In general I like the pace of the story

I had a very hard time following the direction and flow of the speech bubbles. I had to reread most pages several times to try and build a consistent story in my head. I wish it was it was explicitly clear and obvious to me in what order I'm supposed to read the panels and bubbles in. It often felt like I had to jump between sides of a panel and between bubble trees and I lost track of what was going on very often.

anyway thank you for this comic, it's really lovely and hot and cool, and it's cool to be able to provide feedback and speak so directly to you, GeeU. c: It's been a while since I read one of your comics and I was very much enthralled. I really appreciate how you feel about your work (feeling like it's a secret to be told and retold publicly) and how candidly you describe your process.

To DarkShadow6: Thanks for coming at me with some good critical feedback. Most of what you're saying makes sense especially about consistency. As I've mentioned before, I have another full time job, and sometimes I take several days off between drawing. And when i do that, it often feels like I'm almost relearning how to draw some of the detailed work when I get back to it. So that's why the inconsistency exist. So in the future I'm going to try and keep my breaks shorter so that I keep more of the muscle memory used for staying consistent. Also, I'm definitely paying more attention to detailing the hands. I figured cutting a few corners in that area on the smaller panels would help keep me on schedule, but if they are a distraction, then its important to not cut too many corners. But I will add (and you called it), I am on a tight schedule for trying to balance all the work I do. So your suggestions for spending more time working on certain aspects is unrealistic if I want to complete pages in a timely fashion. I realize you are giving me feedback as an artist - looking at every panel as a mini piece of art. But the truth is, I'm a story teller more than an artist, and getting the pages out regularly is my primary goal. That being said, all the things you suggested I improve upon, I will most certainly work on them, but it will be a slow growing process, instead of me trying to master it all before the next page kinda thing. I'll slowly try new methods and techniques, but if they take too long, I'll have to just cut that corner and ask for your forgiveness lol.
OH! And one more thing you mentioned that I have to clarify, on page 2 you mentioned my perspectives were off between the images - that's because those 3 images come from 3 totally different scenes that are drawn in totally different perspectives, I just collaged them together. I'm guessing you don't subscribe to me on Patreon, but if you did, you would know those images come from a series I only release on Patreon. Its called Yuki's Training Days and they feature different events where Yuki is being trained up before here final 'test' in this comic. But if you didn't know that, then ya, it all looks like one image with horrible perspective issues lol. If you see it someday, you'll see that in the first panel where you say Yuki looks like a scrunched up dwarf (which I totally giggled about), you'll notice the perspective looks a lot more correct when seen in its original context.

And Tripwire: about following the panels, I hear you! There were a couple of pages that I drew and then tried to make the text fit, but just couldn't seem to figure out a clear way! But I am very conscious about it, and strive to better my visual hierarchy skills. I draw the comic in a square format because I knew it was going to be an online comic (so fills a screen better than your traditional comic page format), but I didn't realize that it actually makes it a lot more difficult to draw panels that seem to naturally lead to each other. So it has been a struggle, but I think Im getting better at it, and will keep trying to improve! :D But thank you for your compliments on the writing and story telling. I know I can draw, but writing I'm still a wee bit insecure about. I hope Im staying true to characters voice and demeanor, and keeping a good pace without too much repetition. But if you (or any of you) feel like Im falling down in those areas, let me know! :D

about the perspective, I was really only talking about the bottom panel, the others are fine. if it (the smushed stature) was done for an artistic reason and makes sense in context then that's fine, like I said as an artist you want to first and foremost make your own style present. I'm a strickler for correctness though so I did notice it, but on my scale it's less important as a solitary issue and more like it sets my expectations for later on, again, at least for me. others may not even notice it eg @Tripwire__

as long as you keep working to improve and continue such excellent communication with your community, I'm sure you will be successful. 👍

ed: just read through the rest of the series, and I gotta say, you weren't wrong about being more of a storyteller (and I mean that the story is fun). getting into it, the issues don't really mean as much when you're here for the story, esp. now that I'm used to your style. pretty cool how that works.

something I think I prefer is actually your cg sets over the unique panel comics, you seem to be more verbose and free with the writing that way and I'd be lying if I wasn't a sucker for the abject sissification. but that one is totally just my opinion.

That being said, next issue, I'm introducing another 3 new Trap characters, and I might take one of or more of them there. So, its a little bit of a compromise for fans! :D
