Lol yeah, obviously. But this would only refer to those directly involved in the sexual act, fictional characters in this case. I disagree with the assumption that this should also always apply to the people who read and enjoy this type of content (this is typically what people find most contentious), which is what I meant by stating that you were looking at it in a narrow way. Pigeonholing people into being straight or gay based off of fictional content, would be ridiculous. By that logic, given that we don't know the extent of what each person views (potentially ranging from yaoi to yuri to straight content etc.), their sexuality would be nearly impossible to classify (other than possibly pansexual).
