Great comic.

Unnecessary repost, unless this is higher quality or something. I doubt that however, given that the other gallery has sketches and commentary that this one does not.

Damn that's a good ending. Like what did she expect would happen if he ever turned back? Thought for sure he had been addicted to the Futa Dick.

I remember reading comments way back when that were positively FURIOUS that the guy didn't stay with the psychotic bitch who kidnapped, raped and enslaved him.

@JuankiMan I specifically called out somebody who was doing that, on a previous upload of this comic.

@The Goat is Watching: I think @anonymas was reacting to the moral incoherence of the comic. Of course, people are often morally incoherent, and perhaps the writer made the characters and the story that way on purpose. Or perhaps he outlined the plot, "girl gets revenge on scum boss, turns him into girl maid, he gets to like it, then gets reprieved and starts anew," but discovered it read quite differently when fleshed out. Once she admits she could change back, Beatrice's actions are seen in a whole new light, but the comic leaves this unaddressed.

I don't see Georges' exit as his exit, but as the readers': "Here's your moral, have fun." It's the proper end to the story, but not the characters. We're left thinking Beatrice wasn't getting revenge, but just an abuser. It's not a happy thought.

Also, when you think of how many panda-ites would be thrilled to serve a dominant female who straightens them out, I think the reactions on the last version are more understandable.

@somercet I'm gonna quote what anonymous said, which pretty much speaks for itself.

"Beatrice was a sexually harassed, sexually confused, hard working woman, wronged by her peers.
She only caged Gisele because Georges was such a fucking asshole.
After Georges has received and accepted his punishment, Beatrice starts to REWARD Giselle, who is simply not yet used to being female.
Yet, even after Beatrice's friend SAID Beatrice has had a hard life, even when Beatrice proved that she truly cared for Gisele (not Georges), and was emotionally dependent on her, Giselle chose to leave.
Even though they're deciding to move, to get a fresh start on the new life they've created, to go somewhere that isn't just that prison apartment, Giselle CHOSE to leave.
Giselle chose to devastate Beatrice just so Georges could have another chance at what is likely going to be a shit life."

I have no idea if they still feel that way about this material now, obviously. But this was straight-up painting the antagonist as the victim who had no other reasonably choice. And suggesting that the real monster here is the guy who spends 90% of the story being raped and enslaved by her, who lost his own ability to speak his original native language coherently and therefore any chance of having an independent life in his own country, all so she could have absolute power over him to guarantee he does whatever she wants.

Like, this was genuine outrage at a protagonist who decided they didn't want to be an abusive crazy person's genderbent slave anymore. I really hope they don't feel that way anymore, because that is a garbage take. lol

You know, the thing is, it's hard to argue that things are or will ever be better for the characters at the end. Georges was a misogynistic and ethically bankrupt wannabe rapist (through blackmail and emotional manipulation), Béatrice was a downtrodden woman who turned into the embodiment of everything she hates (and thus also a rapist), and they're both complete shit people. Now Béatrice is ten times as miserable as she was before and Georges has a completely destroyed life to repair — which will be fundamentally impossible, because he can't reclaim his old identity without going to prison for embezzlement. Meanwhile, Béatrice and Gisèle were happy, deeply in love, and planning to move forward with their lives, together. It's absolutely fucked‑up the way that situation came about, but it probably would've been in everyone's best interests at that point.

Preventing it from being so sure as hell isn't Georges/Gisèle's sin on which to be crucified, though.

@Psychotic Pastry "Deeply in love"? I never saw an ounce of love in this comic; Just an uncomfortably realistic example of the Stockholm Syndrome. Béatrice sees Gisèle as a piece of property; She gets attached to her like one would to a pet, but she doesn't really treat her with respect or genuine affection, and for her part Gisèle just starts reciprocating because the sex is gonna come no matter what, so it's easier to make it something comfortable than just it being nothing but fear, pain and dispair. Their relationship is inherently toxic and born out of a massive power imbalance.

That happiness is but an illusion born out the carcass of dead hope.

@JuankiMan

Of course it's toxic, but that doesn't mean that the two of them aren't in love by the time of the conclusion. Love isn't pure and untouchable. There can definitely be unhealthy, disgusting, abusive/self-harming forms of love. Stockholm syndrome is one of them, especially when it develops into romantic attachment. You're right that the comic is portraying it very accurately, and that Béatrice and Gisèle are not engaged in a healthy relationship. If they'd stayed together, it would've continued to be an abusive and gaslighting-filled, but functional romance, with a financially stable lifestyle.

If you only gauge the value of a situation by utility, not by morality, that would've been better for them. The way things played out, the situation either changed for the worse (Béatrice is more depressed, Georges can never have a normal life again) or stayed the same and was still awful (Georges still "loves" Béatrice as a consequence of the abuse). Nothing improved. That's the extent of my meaning; don't mistake it for claiming that they're good for each other or something, because: Ha ha ha, oh wow, hell no.

@Psychotic_Pastry Considering all he went through at the end of the story, I think Georges is going to be far less comfortable with treating women the way he did before.

Regardless, the ending is extremely valid on both ends; Georges deserves a second chance to live his own life, and Beatrice deserved to be dumped after what she put him through.

Part of me hopes they never meet again. Part of me hopes Georges books a round trip to Africa and comes back as Giselle. This was a great story, with a great ending
