He was going to release it on here many months ago.

Many just dislike rewrite in general out of principle, protecting the originality of the source material.

Back when I know basically zero English or Japanese. it is more "stimulating" to just make up dialogue in my mind as I read for "research purpose"

Just make some funny shit up for rewrites. Like Food Network for example. It's a classic that's been around for ages and hasn't been driven into the ground by all the rewrite hating bandwagoners.

"Who in their right mind would frost a cake with their butt?" is a line that's well known. My personal favorite was "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS STEP THE FUCK OFF". So some stupid shit to be funny is a better way to rewrite and appease the crowd than to legitimately try to rewrite. It's not worth your time otherwise outside of your own personal satisfaction.
