This hit pretty close, as I have people with Asperger's in the family and yes, it really is a difficult life.

Also, I myself have anxiety, depression, and personality disorders and, while I never had to deal with abusive environments, I can relate to Tatsuki's self-loathing and inability to make others understand her problems.

Never mind that the study of mental illnesses is fairly new as a science, but the worst is - most people, including everyday ordinary folks and even several supposed medical professionals, either cannot understand these issues me and others live with, or are unwilling to do so and dismiss them as childish tantrums or uncanny, unpleasant behaviour. Or, like in this story's case, think they can "cure" them (it does not work that way).

Keita is a scumshit, but not counting the physical abuse his reactions are rather common for people who know nothing of mental illness, and denote how ignorant people are on the subject at hand, be it in everyday life with family and friends or at school/work.

Sorry for the brief rant, but I'm honestly surprised to find something like this on a website I browse for porn. I think it was handled well, especially when one considers that in Japan having mental or developmental disorders carries heavy stigma. The one thing I'm a bit puzzled about is Tatsuki's friend's casual use of the word "Aspie", though I guess it's yet another example of ignorance and not knowing what you're talking about (I mean, "autistic" has become a pretty common insult on the internet).

Guess its different for everyone. Had a hardcore aspie as a flatmate but it was normal living, only difference he was a nocturnal person, staying up all night and sleeping all days.
