As I was saying, I'm guessing you're saving everything as 100% jpg's?
Because you'd normally use 80% quality jpg for color only and png with 128 to 256 colors for black/white pages. Also, RAWs bigger than x3500 should probably be reduced to anywhere between x2500 to x3500, when saving for web.
